We read the developer's own announcement, check the details, and write a short, plain piece: what the tool does, what is genuinely new, and whether it is worth your time. No hype, no manufactured urgency.

News goes up through the week. Three other parts of the site do not age: guides explaining the techniques behind the tools, a directory of free plugins you can download without an account, and an audio DSP page tracking the open-source projects plugins are built on, with code snippets and the reading worth your time.
