Aide Audio Releases GE-1 Gravity Engine - One-Knob Tilt EQ with Kick-Triggered Ducking for Bass

Aide Audio has released GE-1 Gravity Engine, a bass-focused plugin that combines a one-knob tilt EQ with automatic kick-triggered ducking. The plugin uses a LEARN function that analyzes your actual bass playing to establish a pivot frequency, then automatically configures ducking parameters including side-chain threshold, ratio, and kick phase alignment.

The single Gravity knob tilts around that pivot point, clockwise for more weight and counter-clockwise for tighter definition. A spectral ducking engine intelligently carves bass only where it conflicts with the kick drum, preserving both instruments’ clarity without sacrificing low-end impact.

Additional features include multi-kick aggregation (up to four kicks per group across four groups), dual side-chain routing via DAW bus or shared memory, a 20-100 Hz sub-cut with click-free crossfade, and a true-peak safety limiter with 4x oversampling. A real-time analyzer displays input, output, EQ curve, and kick spectrum simultaneously.
